September 29, 2026
- New reference page: How banks lay out their PDF statements. It covers columns, date formats and quirks for Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, HDFC, SBI and Barclays.
- Rewrote and expanded all six guides with worked examples, tables, troubleshooting sections and FAQs: QuickBooks import, unlocking statements, scanned statements, loan applications, reconciliation and budgeting.
- Added "last updated" dates to guides and this changelog.
September 2026
- Added bank-specific pages for Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, HDFC Bank, SBI and Barclays, with download instructions and layout tips for each bank.
- Published the first set of guides.
- Added a free, in-browser PDF to Word converter.
August 2026
- Launched the bank statement converter: PDF to Excel (XLSX) and CSV, running entirely in the browser with no upload.
- Added support for converting several PDFs at once into a single Excel workbook, one sheet per statement.
- Added a clear message when a PDF has no selectable text (scanned statements), pointing to OCR options.
Planned
- Better merging of descriptions that wrap onto several lines (common on SBI and HDFC UPI entries).
- An optional single "signed amount" column for direct import into QuickBooks.
- More bank-specific pages based on user requests.
